Obituary

Richard "Dick" Ernest Thouren, of West Lorne, Ontario, passed away on Monday, October 31st, 2016 at the age of 83. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lisa, and by his good friend, Irene Puddester. He was predeceased by his son, Scott, in February of 2016. Born in Framingham, son of Ernest and Ethel Thouren.   He enjoyed playing and watching sports, playing hockey into his later years.   He also played the drums. He was an expert mechanic. Dick was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Korea. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no Visitation or Funeral Services. Donations may be directed to the Veteran's Organization of your choice. Interment of Dick's ashes will be at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham, MA in the Spring of 2017. Scott's ashes will be interred in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland, MA on the same day.   Local arrangements are under the direction of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland.
