Richard Pimentel's Obituary
Richard Pimentel, 77, a resident of Marlborough since 2008 died April 19,2016 at Beaumont Nursing Home following a long illness.
Richard was born in Provincetown on February 21, 1939 to William and Mary (Ruprecht) Pimentel, (deceased), and was raised and educated in Ashland Ma.
Richard leaves his children Margie, Michael (Melinda), Jeffrey, and Carrie. He also leaves his grandchildren Taylor and Jake. In addition to his children he leaves his sisters Mary Ann Iarussi (Ozzie), Eleanor Connelly, sisters in law Josephine Pimentel and Barbara Pimentel and brother in law Edward Wakefield, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife Marjorie, their children Karen and Richard JR. and his siblings Beatrice Gannon, Joseph and William Pimentel, Claire Garry and Carol Wakefield.
Richard also leaves his long time companion Ellie MacGregor and her children Lennie and Sean, and grandchildren Kevin and Brooke.
Rich served in the US Army from 1957 to 1960, and was employed at General Motors and recently Walmart in Hudson. Before his illness Rich was an avid sports fan and movie buff and could tell you every player's stats from years ago and every actor's name no matter how unknown they were, it was truly amazing.
He will be missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 25, 2016 at 9:00 AM at Saint Cecilia's Church Ashland. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of your choice. Rich was a friend of Bill W.
