Richard L. Morazzini, 85 of Ashland passed away Fri. Dec. 1st surrounded by his family.  Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late George and Tina (Roberti) Morazzini and the beloved husband of Jeannette (Belanger) Morazzini for 62 years.  Along with his wife, Richard founded J&R Machine Co. in Ashland.  He was a member of the Ashland VFW Post 2331 and Southborough Rod and Gun Club.  Richard served his country honorably in the Marine Corps from 1955-1959.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Elaine Iarussi and her husband Chris of Ashland, one son, Gary Morazzini and his wife Geri of Ashland, he was father of the late Ronald Morazzini and his wife Jill of Ashland, ten grandchildren, Nicholas Iarussi, Michelle Morazzini, Amanda Morazzini, Dominic Morazzini, Christopher Dudley, Julie Fields, Anthony Morazzini, Travis Morazzini, Kristy Dudley, and Misty Dudley, 3 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Joshua, and Brayden, one sister, Delores Masionis and her husband William of Hopkinton, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wed. Dec. 6th at 10:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.  There are no visiting hours.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
