Richard "Ricky" Fahey 43, of Thomasville, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Duke University Medical Center, due to injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. Ricky was born on September 29, 1967, in Framingham, MA, the son of the late Richard "Dick" Fahey and Shirley Fahey of Ashland, MA. Ricky is survived by his wife Susan (Bagley) Fahey; two daughters, Danielle Fahey and Jaime Fahey, all of Thomasville, NC, his mother Shirley Fahey of Ashland, three sisters: Debra O'Brien of Walpole, Diane Zapert of Ashland and Susan Dunham of Holliston and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 30th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland MA. The family will receive friends on Friday July 29th from 5-8pm in the funeral home.
