Richard "Duke" Davies, 94, former longtime resident of Framingham passed away Wednesday, Feb 19th after a period of declining health.  Born in Hopkinton, he was the son of the late Carlyle Davies and Barbara (Gipps) Marshall.  Duke was father to Wesley of Ashland and Matt of West Hollywood, CA.

Duke served his country honorably in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1948-52.  He continued his service for 35 years in the Naval & Army National Guard.  He worked for many years at New England Telephone as a line assigner.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
