Richard F Cummings, 68, of Marathon, Florida, formerly of Framingham, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 after a lengthily illness. Born and raised in Framingham, he was the son of the late Richard and Eileen (Byrnes) Cummings and the husband of the late Lillian K. (Dunn) Cummings. Richard was a veteran, serving in the US Air force Military Police in the US and Europe and a retired Bridge Operator for the local union in Marathon, FL. He is survived by his three sisters, Margaret Garcia her husband David Garcia of Framingham, Gail Cummings of Ashland, Paula Morris her husband Dennis of Ashland, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 7th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland.
