Raymond A. Parabicoli, 49, of Ashland passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 19th at his home. He is the son of Raymond and Fern (Munyon) Parabicoli. Raymond graduated as the Valedictorian of the Ashland High School Class of 1982 and attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where he was a member of the Phi Betta Kappa Honor Society. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Megan Rae Parabicoli of Marlborough, two sisters, Linda J. Maregni and her husband Paul of Ashland, Cheryl A. Rocheford and her husband Irving of Ashland, one brother, Mark V. Parabicoli and his wife Kristin of Uxbridge, and nine nieces and nephews, Brian, Christopher, and Thomas Maregni, Michael, Stacia, and Ryan Rocheford, and Allyson, and Julia Parabicoli. Raymond loved spending as much time as possible with his daughter teaching her piano, listening to music and drawing. He was an avid sports fan, played piano, enjoyed fishing with his grandfather and grew up playing hockey in the Ashland hockey leagues. He also enjoyed music immensely with the Beatles being his favorite band. Lastly, he was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by his family, and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.
