Phyllis Jean Linger, 81, formerly of Holliston, MA and Glen, NH, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday Aug. 27th with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Clinton and Elizabeth (Allman) Crawford of Weston, WV; she was the loving wife of Donald Ralph Linger for 61 years. A resident of Holliston from 1968-1997, Mrs. Linger was a Registered Nurse and worked for the Holliston Elementary Schools from 1986-1995 as a School Nurse.  She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Holliston where she taught Sunday School, and then a member of the Journey Church in North Conway, NH. She was devoted to her family and loved taking trips to Story Land in New Hampshire and Disney World in Florida with her children and grandchildren. She was proud of her West Virginia heritage and loved her West Virginia Mountaineers. In addition to her husband; she is survived by three children; Dianna Cambridge and her husband Brett of Uxbridge; Donna Miles and her husband Bill of Ashland; and David Linger and his wife Sumer of Milford, OH; seven grandchildren; Brittany Kjellman and her husband Thomas, Courtney Cambridge, Connor Miles, Allyson Miles, Savannah Linger, Hunter Linger, and Calvin Linger; one great-grandchild; Joanna Kjellman; one sister, Louise Cummings of Murrells Inlet, SC, one brother, Richard Crawford of Philippi, WV, one sister-in-law, Avis Linger of Weston, WV, and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Rev. Maynard Crawford of Elkins, WV.     A funeral service will be held Wednesday Aug. 31st at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.  Burial will take place in the cemetery of the Broad Run Baptist Church in West Virginia, the church where she was married in 1955.  Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9:00-11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Broad Run Baptist Church, PO Box 542, Jane Lew,WV  26378
