Philip Carter Meuse, 66, of Londonderry, NH formerly of Ashland, MA passed away Monday March 25, 2013. He was the son of the late Carl and Louise (Carter) Meuse and loving husband of Rosemarie (DeCamp) Meuse. They were married 35 years. A graduate of North Cambridge Catholic High School and later Newbury College and Framingham State University, Philip worked as an Optician with Keamy Eye & Laser Centre in Westborough, MA. He previously worked for Optical Advantage in Medford and the Fallon Clinic in Worcester. Mr. Meuse was a resident of Hopkinton, MA for 16 years before moving to Ashland, MA in 2004 and recently retired to Londonderry, NH. He was a member of the Opticians Association of Massachusetts, active member of the Hopkinton Sportsman's Club, and proud Eagle Scout. Mr. Meuse served his country honorably with the Navy during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters; Linda McLean of Wareham, MA; and Patricia Meuse of Simi Valley, CA; one brother, Carl Meuse of Concord, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Claire Meuse. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 27th at 10:30am in St. Mary's Parish, 8 Church St. Holliston, MA followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Holliston. There are no calling hours.
