Peter Joseph Rego, 54, formerly of Leland, NC, Windham, NH and Ashland, MA died Wednesday, September 6th, 2006. He was the son of Phyllis Rego of Dennisport, MA and the late Joseph Rego. He was the husband of Susan Rego. Mr. Rego was born in Natick, Massachusetts and graduated from Marian High School in Framingham, MA in 1969, and Clark University in Worchester, MA. He worked at Digital Equipment Corporation for twenty years, retiring as Corporate Implementation Manager for the SAP implementation effort. Upon leaving DEC, he co-founded a computer consulting company, Performance Resource Group. Mr. Rego loved skiing, golf, and most of all, spending time with friends and family. Besides his wife, survivors include two children, Brianna Jean of Canton, MA and Zachary Rego of Leland, NC; three sisters, Kathleen (Rego) Thompson of Leland, NC, Karyn Rego of Centerville, MA and Debora (Rego) Morgan of Marstons Mills, MA; and a brother Jeffrey Rego of Kingston, NH. He was also brother to the late Susan Rego Callahan and Paul Rego. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 2nd at 9:00 AM in St. Cecelia's Church, 54 Esty Street, Ashland, MA. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Donations in Peter's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
