Pauline Louise Yorke, 84, of Ashland passed away Tuesday May 29th at her home in Ashland. She was the loving wife of Arden H. Yorke. Pauline was a graduate of N. Quincy High School and worked her entire career in the banking industry retiring from Fleet Bank. Mrs. Yorke was an active member of the Federated Church of Ashland serving as its musical director and organist for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Theta Phi Delta, and a Mother Advisor to the International Order of the Rainbow Girls. In addition to her work at the Federated Church of Ashland she also served many other Middlesex County Churches as musical director and organist. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jane Louise Dyar, two grandchildren, Ian and Abba Louise Dyar, one step-daughter, Ardeth DiStefano, three step-granddaughers, Marcy Salkind, Lesley Daukscevich, and Tracy DiStefano, and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday June 2nd at 11:00am in the Federated Church of Ashland followed by burial in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. There are no calling hours.
