Pauline Anne Powers, 84, of Ashland passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2015. She was the wife to the late William Powers and daughter of the late John and Mary (Mullen) Oates. Pauline worked for many years as a secretary on the CCU Floor at Framingham Union Hospital retiring in 2001. She is survived by four sons; William Powers and his wife Tracy of Cumberland, RI, Michael Powers of Onset, MA, Joseph McGillicuddy and his wife Monica of Hampstead, NH; Peter Powers and his wife Marilyn of Hillsborough, NH, one brother, Paul Oates of Watertown, MA, and grandchildren; Kaylee, Dylan, Khloie, Kelly, Peter, Daniel, Scott, and David Powers, and Justin McGillicuddy. She was mother to the late Patrick and Paul Powers, grandmother to the late Sean Powers, and sister to the late Mary White, Agnes Coughlin, John Oates, Ruth Phinney, Timothy Oates, Virginia Coen and Thomas Oates. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 7th at 6PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held 4-6PM prior to the service.
