Paul J. Shea 80, of Centerville passed away Thursday, September 13th in Centerville after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Claire (Condron) Shea. Born in Pittsfield, he was the son of James and Elizabeth (Hogerty) Shea. He was a graduate of Lenox High School Class of 1946. Mr. Shea attended Bryant – Stratton College in Rhode Island and graduated in 1954. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Army. He was employed with the Federal Milk Market in the State of Vermont and later worked with the John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston. He is survived by his brothers: James Shea of Anacortes, WA., Dr. John Shea of Ashland and Dr. Thomas Shea of Glen Carbon, Iowa. He was also the brother of the late Elizabeth Kelly of Pittsfield. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main Street in Ashland with interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westfield, MA.
