Paul E. Perkins, Jr., 82, of Ashland, passed away, Monday, April 25th at his home in Ashland, MA. Born in Wellesley, MA; he was the son of the late Paul and Anita Perkins. He was the loving husband of Joyce H. Perkins. They were married 57 years. Paul was actively involved as a member of the Metrowest Worship Center on Pleasant Street in Ashland at one point serving as Elder before his illness in 2000. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Kathy Lee Tetlow and her husband David, of Fayetteville, NC; Kevan Paul Perkins and his wife Deborah of Medway; Vickie Leigh Sharleville and her husband Blair of Northbridge; His nieces, Lori Lussier and her husband Steve; Nancy Fenno and her husband David; his Sisters, Marilyn Lewandowski and her husband George of Blackstone, MA; and the late Jini Calhoun. He also had many other nieces and nephews, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of His Life will be held Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
