Patrick McHale, age 65, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Pat was a cherished husband, devoted father, beloved brother, adoring papa, and dear friend to many.

Born on May 4, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Patrick was known for his infectious laugh, unwavering loyalty, meticulous attention to detail, and supreme financial planning. He touched the lives of those around him with his wit and sense of humor

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Theresa; his son Ryan; his daughter Alyssa and her husband Joseph; his sister Colleen and her husband William; his brother Thomas and his wife Cynthia; and his brother Michael and his wife Natalie; his late sister Bonnie and her husband Dale, and, of course, his five adoring grandchildren - Landon, Jayden, Sadie, Julian, and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Brewington and Thomas McHale.

Pat also leaves behind a bevy of extended family members including: his mother-in-law Margaret, his sister-in-law Patty and her husband Bill; his sister-in-law Sally and her husband Ronald; his sister-in-law Tina and her husband Derrick; his Aunt Peg along with his cousins in Pittsburgh, PA., his Rhode Island family, and so many cherished colleagues and friends that he simply referred to as an extension of his family. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Robert, brother-in-law Michael, and dear friend, Eddie Smith.

Throughout his life, Patrick enjoyed embarking on road trips and Aruba vacations with his wife, helping his children navigate adulthood, playing with his adoring grandchildren, following the Pittsburgh sports scene, and so much more.

He will also be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work as a VP of Quality Assurance for MRO Software and IBM, his service in the United States Navy, his desire to mentor those in need of financial planning through Springwell Elder Services, his stepping up to the plate to serve his community as President of the Allston, MA. chapter of Little League Baseball, and his serving on the Council of Aging in Ashland, Massachusetts.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. Information will be forthcoming.

Patrick will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in our hearts.
