Obituary

Patricia M. (Cronin) St. Cyr, beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully with her loving husband, son, and family by her side on Friday, June 8, 2012 in Cambridge, MA. Patricia (Pat) was born in Newton on August 18, 1953. Raised in Ashland, MA, Pat worked for a number of years as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist. Always giving to others, Pat was very active as a volunteer at the Shore Country Day School in Beverly, MA, while her son attended. She went on to work with her husband for the Department of Social Services as house parents, where they helped hundreds of children in the Greater Boston Area. Pat loved laughter, music, and literature, and was an avid reader. Her greatest passion was spending time with her husband and her son. Pat is survived by her husband, Michael R. St. Cyr of Framingham, MA; her son, Michael P. St. Cyr of San Diego, CA; her brother Billy Cronin of Marlborough, MA; her sister Kathleen Lienhard and her husband Tom of Barrington, NH; her sister Janet Cooper and her husband Bob of Framingham, MA; her sister Judy Cronin of Framingham, MA; her sister, Maureen Cronin of Marlborough, MA; her sister Maryellen Fitzgerald and her husband John of Hopedale, MA; her brother, Jim Cronin and his wife Liz of Hudson, MA, along with many adoring nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland on Monday, June 11th from 5:00-8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland on Tuesday, June 12th at 9:00am.
