Patricia Elizabeth "Patty" Colley, 73,  died March 18, 2016 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester after a stroke, surrounded by loved ones who sang her into heaven.

Born April 17, 1942 in Boston to Frances and Ernest Colley she lived in Framingham, Sudbury, Ashland and Hopedale.

A strong proud work ethic, she was employed at Corporate Chefs, Bose and Genzyme, retiring from Genzyme.  After retirement Patty was active at Windsor House in Framingham and SALMON Adult Day Health in Northbridge.

Well known and loved for her

unsurpassed happiness, sense of humor, generosity and zest for life, she made and kept friends from all walks of her life.  She enjoyed knitting, walking, all holidays, vacations to Canada and Cape Cod, and going out for dinner.  She dearly loved and was loved by her pets Misty, Auntie Anna and Willow.

Devoted to her faith, she was a member of L.D.S. Church in Marlboro for many years and attended Hopedale Unitarian Parish for the past four years, where she was drawn by their bells.

Patty leaves her sisters Frances Pina and her husband John of Haverhill, Evelyn Colley of Haverhill, Ruby Colley and brother Paul Colley, Florida, neices and nephews Danny and Alicia Pina, Kelly and Rob Pearson, Michael and Michelle Hartnett all of Haverhill and their families, extended family Carol Matzner, and family, Clara Froc and family, dear friends at Advocates Inc., D.D.S., SALMON A.D.H.   Patty was pre-deceased by Marcel "Papa" Froc.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00, April 16 at Hopedale Unitarian Parish, 65 Hopedale St., Hopedale, MA.
