Pamela Ann
Veek
Jan 17, 1943 — Oct 31, 2025
Pamela Ann (Capuano) Veek, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.
Pamela was born in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Andrew and Rita (Garvey) Capuano. She grew up in Somerville, MA, with her siblings Andrew Capuano and Michael Capuano both of Somerville, MA, and Lisa Evans of Sudbury, MA and loving cousin Michele Gigli of Somerville, MA. She was predeceased by her sister Karen Capuano. Pamela was a longtime resident of Framingham, MA and spent her summers in Fairhaven, MA.
Pamela graduated from Somerville High School and Lasell University. She was predeceased by her adoring husband of 40 years Arnold J. Veek and was a proud and loving mother to her three children—Arnold Veek, Jr of San Francisco, Robert Veek of Boston, and Amy Lennon and her husband Jhan of Boca Raton, FL.
She found her greatest joy in her role as Nana to her five grandchildren—Grace, Katie, Christopher, Dylan, and Jordyn. She adored making memories with them, cheering from the sidelines, celebrating milestones, and making them her famous cheese pie and Norwegian waffles.
Pamela had a large extended family filled with many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pamela had a love of travel, especially visiting America's National Parks, Italy and Disney World. As an avid dog lover she spent many years participating in dog agility competitions winning many ribbons over the years. She supported dog rescue organizations all over the country and even carried dog treats in her pockets for the lucky dogs she may have encountered throughout the day.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and kindness that will live on through her family and all who were fortunate to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will forever remain a guiding presence in the lives she touched.
A celebration of Pamela's life will be held Saturday, November 8th at Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA. Visiting hours will be held from 10-11:30am prior to a service at 12:00pm.
