Omer Joseph Chevrette, Jr., 84, of Natick passed away Saturday, July 14th at Metrowest Medical Center in Natick. Mr. Chevrette was the husband of the late Anita (St. John) Chevrette and father to the late Brian Chevrette. Omer was known as Chevy to his friends and was a retired maintenance worker for Prudential Towers. He served his country honorably with the Army during the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post 1274 in Natick. He is survived by his partner of 20 years, Priscilla Fernandes of Natick; son, Alan Chevrette of North Carolina, daughter, Lauri Varano of Clinton, MA; four grandchildren, one great grandchild and many extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 21st at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
