Nello F. Ferretti, 88, of Hopkinton. Born August 3rd, 1929, Amatrice, Italy, passed away on Saturday, November 25th 2017 at Marlborough Hills after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Giovanna; his two sons; Enrico and Dino; six grandchildren; Christina, Mark, Erica, Alecia, Nicolas, Isabella.

A longtime resident of Hopkinton for 37 years and owner of Nello's Café in Ashland

Along with his love for cooking, Nello enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was taking care of his garden and lawn or heading out on a fishing or hunting trip.

His family will hold a private service in Nello's memory and would like to thank his loyal patrons and friends for their love and support over the years.
