Nellie C. (Battistone) Pontremoli age 90, a former resident of Framingham passed away peacefully Monday December 23rd after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of 61 years to the late Egidio Pontremoli who passed away in 2006. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Oddo and Gemma (Pedini) Battistone. She will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Nellie is survived by her two children, Richard Pontremoli of Upton, Donna Leavey and her husband Stephen of Mendon, six grandchildren; Briana Pontermoli, Christine Coyle, Lauren Maloney and her husband Ryan, Tammy Pontremoli, Stephen Leavey and his wife Mischa and Jill Leavey, as well as 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday morning, December 28th at 10AM in St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
