Nancy A. Wenzell, formerly of Ashland and East Orleans, passed away on May 29, 2011. She was the wife of the late Stanley Wenzell who passed away in 1984. Born in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Irene (Vonderhay) Evans. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Robuccio and her husband Randall of Fitchburg, with whom she had made her home; one son, David Wenzell and his wife Karen of Ashland; a daughter-in-law, Karen Wenzell of Parkland, FLA; six grandchildren: Taylor King and Shana Wenzell of FLA, Jessica Wenzell of NY, Trevor Robuccio of Fitchburg, and Nicole and Emily Wenzell of Ashland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her close friends, better known as "the party pals". She was predeceased by her son Gary Wenzell, her brother James Evans, and her sister Jean Kaetzel. Nancy truly enjoyed her home on the Cape, whether it was going to the beach, visits from her family and friends, and all the shops. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
