Myrtle G. Blenkhorn, 94, of Framingham, formerly a lifelong resident of Berlin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born in Berlin, MA, she was one of seven children born to the late Walter and Annie (Ferguson) Rogers. She was the wife of the late Harold R. Blenkhorn who died in 1995. Mrs. Blenkhorn worked as an assembler at Raytheon Co. in Waltham for many years, retiring in 1979. Prior to Raytheon she enjoyed working at Fillmore Ice Cream in Hudson. Myrtle was a past member of the Hudson Eagles and enjoyed crocheting, baking, the Red Sox, and spending time with her family. She is survived by five children: Walter Blenkhorn and his wife Cindy of Winchester, NH; Harold Blenkhorn and his wife Elizabeth of Medway; Beverly Boudreau of Harwich; Helen Roach of Berlin; and Debra Blenkhorn of Framingham; twelve grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17th at 12:00PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. One calling hour will be held Saturday from 11:00-12:00 PM prior to the service.
