Muriel Coyne McCloy, 80, of Framingham died while on vacation in Oregon while visiting her family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Muriel (Smith) Coyne and wife to the late Joseph Pimentel. Muriel was a social worker for over 30 years. A staunch advocate for children her whole life, she loved her work at SMOC Head Start. She leaves behind her children; Mary McCloy-Vono and her husband Stephen; Mark McCloy and his wife Deanna; and Michael McCloy; grandchildren; Luke Callahan and his wife Jamee and great grandchild Shealagh; Sara Vono, Shawn McCloy, and Patricia McCloy; two brothers; Joseph Coyne, and Peter Coyne; and two sisters Anne Coyne and MaryJane Coyne. She was the mother of the late Joseph McCloy. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 21st at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland.
