Michael David Powers, 44, formerly of Ashland passed away Friday, October 6th. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late William and Pauline Powers. Michael graduated from Keefe Technical Vocational School Class of 1991. He worked many years in sales. His fondest memories were of those spent with family and friends. Michael enjoyed fishing, boating, and was always great for a conversation.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly Powers of Upton, brothers William Powers and his wife Tracy of Cumberland, RI, Joseph McGillicuddy and his wife Monika of Hampstead, NH, Peter Powers and his wife Marilyn of Hillsborough, NH along with many nephews and nieces. He was also the brother of the late Patrick and Paul Powers.

A funeral service will be held Wed. Oct. 25th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with urn burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
