Obituary

Michael J. Hebden, 49, of Key West, FL, formerly of Ashland, MA, passed away on February 25, 2011. Born in Framingham, MA on March 5, 1961, he was the loving son of Robert and Kathleen Hebden of Ashland and Joan Hebden and Jack Healey of Indian Harbor Beach, FL and the husband of Arwen Romes. Michael was the best brother to Coni Hebden of Weston, MA and Lisa Caruso of Marlboro, MA. He is also survived by his step-sisters, Cara Tirrell of Ashland and Caitlin Tirrell of Holliston, MA, his niece, Hannah Caruso, his nephews, Christopher Alberini and Timothy Carney, a great-niece, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. The greatest treasures in his life were his three year old twin sons, Beau Sox and Robert Ashland. Mike graduated from Ashland High School in 1979 and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Boys State Representative. He played football and baseball (senior captain) for all four years of high school. After attending Babson College, Michael worked in the bio-medical field until he moved to Florida in 1996. He loved the warm weather and enjoyed managing the water sports' activities for a beachside resort. Most recently, he was employed by Coca- Cola. Michael was a long time coach for the youth floor hockey league in Key West and loved being a weekly guest on a local radio all-sports program under the moniker of "Boston Mike." His gregarious personality and infectious laughter will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
