Michael Fedorchak, 96, of Milford passed away Sunday April 23rd with his family at his side. He was the husband of the late Helen (Feller) Fedorchak who died in 2010. Mr. Fedorchak worked as a service technician on typesetting machinery for many years. After their retirements, Mike and Helen enjoyed traveling. They visited family and friends across the country and took yearly cruises including Hawaii and Alaska. Mr. Fedorchak served his country honorably with the Army Air Corp during WWII.
He is survived by six children; Michael Fedorchak and his wife, Deborah, of Center Barnstead, NH; Stephen Fedorchak of Ashland; Mark Fedorchak of Milford; David Fedorchak of Madison, NH; Susan Schirmer and her husband, Dwight, of Milford; and Richard Fedorchak and his wife, Sheri, of Estes Park, CO; eight grandchildren; Kristin Fedorchak, Kerri Batra, Alyssa Fedorchak, Valerie Fedorchak, Jennifer Schirmer, Stephanie Fedorchak, Sarah Fedorchak, and Michael J. Fedorchak; and four great-grandchildren; Victoria Bamford, Michael T Bamford, Anjali Batra, and Devya Batra. In addition, he is survived by his in-laws who he and Helen were always close with; Lawrence and Sheila Feller, Barbara and John Stoia, Patricia and Robert Haeberle, the late Joseph and Marilyn Feller, the late Leonard Feller and his wife Beatrice and many nieces and nephews who never forgot "Uncle Mike". He was the father of the late Judith Ann Fedorchak and brother to the late John Fedorchak of San Rafael, CA.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland. Calling hours will be held Friday from 10:00am-12:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452
