Michael K. Egan, 58, of Framingham passed away June 19, 2012. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Cavanaugh) Egan. After graduating from Framingham South High, Class of 1972, he attended several semesters at Bentley College. He was a general contractor working in the Framingham area for many years and also had an active Real Estate Brokers license. He is survived by one brother, Joseph G. Egan; nephew, Charlie Egan of Medway; aunts, Helen Lombardo and Evelyn DiLegami, both of Framingham, cousins, Donald Lombardo and Helen Newman and her husband Stephen and their son John S. Newman of Framingham; and many dear friends, Bobby Roberts of Arizona, Bobby Malzone, John Kliman, and Sharlene Barney of Ashland. He was the brother of the late Anna Calarese and the late William Egan. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19th at 7 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland. Calling hours will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service.
