Michael Christopher Berks, 46, of Millville formerly of Ashland passed away Sun. Dec. 24th after a long struggle with alcohol addiction. He was the son of Laurel Berks and husband of Christine Chiasson. A resident of Millville, MA since 2005, Michael previously worked as a mechanic for the Speen St. Exxon/Mobil in Natick and as an industrial mechanic for American Paper Products.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three step-children, Nicole Chiasson of Worcester, Casey Chiasson of Framingham, and Joey Milan of Worcester, two step-grandchildren, Brady and Blake, and one brother, Christopher (Chuck) Berks of Millville.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday Jan. 28st from 12:00-5:00 PM at the American Legion, 40 Summer Street, Ashland, MA.  Donations may be made in his memory to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, Gift Fund, 5635 Fishers Lane, Room 3011 Bethesda, Maryland 20892-9304
