Maureen (Porter) Musgrave, 77, of Ashland passed away Sun. June 8th at her home surrounded by her family.  She was the daughter of the late Richard and Rita (Scott) Porter and wife of the late Vernon Boyd Musgrave who died in 2008.  Maureen worked for 25 years as a pre-school teacher and later a substitute teacher for the Ashland Public Schools.  She supported her community often as a volunteer with the Ashland Food Pantry. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was Maureen's most treasured moments.  She enjoyed long walks with her dog Oliver and family trips to the beach.

Maureen is survived by her three children, Missy Horan and her husband John of Ashland, Tina Gallinagh of Bellingham, and Adam Musgrave and his wife Paula of Hopkinton, six grandchildren, Becky, Aaron, and Dan Horan, Liam Gallinagh and his wife Rachel, and Bianca and Emily Musgrave, siblings, Gary and Jack Porter, Donna Lambert, and Janice DeMello, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tue. June 17th at 11:00am in St. Cecilia's Parish, 54 Esty St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.  Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.
