Matthew J. Maguire ASHLAND Matthew J.Magoo Maguire, 26, of Ashland, passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the Boston Medical Center from injuries sustained in a swimming accident in California. Born in Newton, he was the son of Joseph Maguire and the late Charlotte (Hopkins) Maguire. Matthew was a senior at Framingham State College and worked for S.M.O.C. in Framingham. In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers; Chad Maguire and his wife Kathryn of Newton; and Michael Maguire of Framingham; one sister Katherine Maguire of Ashland; two nephews, Thomas and Cameron Maguire, and several cousins. A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m., in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service.
