Mary Ellen Sharp, 75, of Milford, formerly of Hopkinton, passed away, Sat. Feb. 7th at Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick. Born in White Plains, NY; she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Beatrice (Coons) MacIntosh, and wife of Jon Thomas Sharp. They were married 17 years. Mary Ellen was the wife of the late Alfred Reinertson, who died in 1982. A longtime resident of Hopkinton, she moved to Milford in 2005. Mrs. Sharp worked as a nurse for Bethany Healthcare in Framingham for 26 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Lori Salera and her husband David of Tewksbury, MA; William Reinertson and his wife Diane of Hopkinton; Scott Reinertson and his partner Sandra Ciccone of Rindge, NH; and James Reinertson and his wife Jacqui of York, ME; two step-children; Susan Flannery and her husband Matthew of Milford, MA; and Chris Sharp and his wife Carey of Austin, MN; thirteen grandchildren: Kate LaChapelle and her husband Alan; Matthew Arvanitis; Will, Annelyse, and Drew Reinertson; Lexi Reinertson; Cassandra, Lillian, and A.J. Reinertson; Caitlin and Ian Flannery; and Taylor and Emma Sharp; one brother, Kevin Koch; and two sisters; Joyce Weingarter and Suzanne Terry. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Feb. 11th at 11:00am in St. John the Evangelist Church in Hopkinton with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery in Hopkinton.
