Mary Brigid Mullin, 69, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19th, at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Baltimore, MD; she was the daughter of the late Malachi and Margaret (Rafferty) Kilroy. She was the wife of the late Leo Mullin, who died in 1993. A resident of Ashland for 32 years; she was a loving mother to her own children and to many others. She is survived by eight children: Leo Mullin of Southborough; Coleen Dutton of Satellite Beach, FL; Mary Lee Mullin Palencia of Ashland; Michael Mullin of Ashland; Marilyn Casey of Upton; Barbara Mullin of Ashland; Maureen Mullin of Ashland; and Mark Mullin of Southborough; three nephews; Philip Mullin of Holliston, Matthew Mullin of Ashland, and Daniel Mullin of Ashland, one niece, Meg Mullin of Clearwater Florida, nine grandchildren; Tyler and Corey Mullin; Bridget Solley, Lorenzo and Coleen Palencia, Michael and Eleanor Casey, and Marilyn and Caroline Crawford; and one great-granddaughter, Giavana Solley. She was the foster mother of the late Joseph Powe and aunt to the late Anna Mullin. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 24th , at 9:00 AM in St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland. Burial will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, (www.mataresefuneral.com) 325 Main St. Ashland.
