Ashland, MA – Mary Ann (Rocca) Lawrence, 91, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, after a period of declining health.

Mary Ann was born in Milford, NH on October 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Philip and Elizabeth (Steib) Rocca.

She is survived by six children, Elizabeth Dexter and husband Richard, Milford, NH; Sandra Lawrence, Holliston, MA; Harold Lawrence, Jr. and wife Sherri, Reedsville, OH; Philip Lawrence and wife Karen, Bolton, MA; Archie Lawrence and wife Laura, Pepperell, MA; Michael Lawrence of Ashland, MA; her sister Barbara Kachadoorian of CA, and brothers Theodore Rocca of NH, and Carlo Rocca of CA, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Wendy Lawrence and her brother Frederick Rocca.

Before retiring, Mary Ann worked in the Alzheimer's unit of Cushing Hospital in Framingham, caring for patients – a job she enjoyed very much. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to a charity of your choice.
