Obituary

Mary Louise Kelly, 66, of Ashland, died suddenly of cardiac arrest on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Newton to the late Richard and Marguerite (Peggy) Kelly, Mary attended Our Lady's School and Rosary Academy, Watertown. She graduated from Newton High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College. Mary began her career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in Customer Service, later advancing to the Ombudsman's office and Human Resources. As a recipient of several association awards, she was the Director of Compensation/HR Information Systems for Private Healthcare Systems and Equiserve, and later served as the VP of Compensation, Benefits and HR Information Systems at Polaroid Corporation.

Mary enjoyed reading, cruising around the world, and Friday night dinners with her brother Leroy, his wife Ann and her niece Sarah. She loved spending time with her family, especially her 14 nieces and nephews and 17 grandnieces and grandnephews, who will miss her dearly.

Beloved by her family, Mary was predeceased by her brother Leroy and sister-in-law Annette (Leone) Kelly. Mary is survived by her devoted brothers, Richard Kelly of North Falmouth and Peter Kelly of Blackstone, loving sister Peggy Coleman of Milford, sisters-in-law Ann (Leroy) & Ann (Peter) and brother-in-law Jim (Peggy).

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd from 4-7pm at Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland. Mary's life will be celebrated at a funeral mass on Thursday, August 3rd at 10am at St. Matthew's Parish in Southborough.
