Mary Ellen Keddy, 56, of Ashland, died Sunday, June 25, 2006. She was the wife of David R. Keddy for 36 years. Born in Framingham, daughter of the late George and Rita (Blacquier) Munger, she was an Ashland resident for 31 years. A graduate of Framingham South High School, she worked as a medical secretary at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham for five years. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Lisa Kaufman and her husband, Andrew, of Ashland; two grandchildren, Brandon and Anna Kaufman; three brothers, George Munger of Franklin, William Munger of Bellingham and James Munger of Holliston, and three sisters, Jean Hamilton of Carrollton, Texas, Maureen Moresi of Ashland and Kathleen Dakai of Blackstone; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of David Keddy Jr., who died in 1993. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 28, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (www.mataresefuneral.com), 325 Main St., Ashland. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
