Mary (Introini) Heffron, 93, lifelong resident of Framingham passed away Sat. Oct. 31, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Davide and Celestina (Guiliani) Introini and wife of the late Harold Heffron who died in 2015. Mary worked as a telephone operator for over 30 years, but most importantly was a devoted loving homemaker. She will be remembered for her love of cooking and baking, holiday feasts, Wednesday night family dinners on Fay Road and the grandchildren’s sleepovers. She along with her husband, were past active members of St. Tarcisius Church and the Golden Rays.

Mary is survived by her children, Kelli Zanchi and her husband Roy, Carla Pleshaw and her husband Michael, son in law, John Slason, grandchildren, Nicole Czarnowski (Brian), Ryan Slason (Haley), Tori Slason (Tim), Michael Zanchi, Danielle Zanchi, Matthew Pleshaw, and Mackenzie Pleshaw, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eligio Introini and heart broken at the loss of her daughter Laura Slason on Oct. 26, 2026.

A funeral service will be celebrated Wed. Nov. 4th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Association, in honor of her daughter Laura.
