Obituary

Mary Foody, 89, passed away Thursday March 23rd after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. The daughter of the late Dominic and Crescenza Pacitto, she was a longtime Natick resident from 1964 unitl moving to the Carlyle House in Framingham in 2011. Mary enjoyed travelling with her family, summers on Cape Cod, gardening, and dancing. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, always providing for her family with her time and her wonderful cooking.

Mrs. Foody is survived by five sons; Michael Foody of Holliston; Frank Foody and his wife Nancy of Ashland; Vincent Foody of Grafton; Paul Foody and his wife Debra of Westboro; and John Foody of Holden; nine grandchildren; Craig, Michael, Lauren, Gabrielle, Michaela, Connor, Dominique, Alyse, and Sean; two brothers; Dominic Pacitto and his wife Elvira of S. Yarmouth; and John Pacitto and his wife Jane of Norton; and two sisters; Amelia Harrington of Burlington; and Eleanor Weisse of Burlington. She was the sister to the late Anthony, Pasquale, and Frank Pacitto.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday April 1st at 12:30 PM in St. Matthew's Parish, 103 Southville Rd. Southboro. One calling hour will be held Saturday from 11:00am-12:00PM prior to the mass at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472 or the Carlyle House Activities Dept. 342 Winter St. Framingham, MA 01702
