Mary M. Collins, 84, of Ashland died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Eliot Healthcare Center in Natick. She was the wife of Henry Collins, who died in 2003. They were married 57 years. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Bridgett (Kenney) O'Leary. A resident of Ashland for 58 years, she was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2331 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, gardening and bingo. She leaves one daughter, Thalia Morris of Ashland; two grandchildren, Robert and Thalia Kaiwi of Ashland; and three sisters, Margaret Ferriter of Cape Cod, Beatrice Erickson of Natick and Alice Gardella of Framingham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 5, at 9 a.m., in St. Cecilia Church in Ashland, with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Visitation will be held Monday, March 5, from 8 to 8:45 a.m., prior to the funeral at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland.
