Mary (Molloy) Booth, 99, of Ashland formerly of Hopkinton passed away Saturday Nov. 12th after a period of declining health. Mary was the wife of the late H. Eric Hakansson who died in 1967 and was later married to the late William Booth. She worked as a bookkeeper for Bates News Co. in Framingham. Mrs. Booth was an active member of St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland for many years.

She is survived by two children; Ellen Bartlett and her husband James of Reading, VT; and John Hakansson of Hopkinton; four grandchildren; J. Eric and Aimee Bartlett, Kristina Armstrong, and Jay Hakansson; five great-grandchildren; Wyatt, Charlotte, and Jessica Bartlett, and Sarah and Emily Hakansson; three sisters; Barbara Cotter, Lorraine Stucchi, and Helen Rice, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was the sister of the late John Molloy, Irene Grass, and Margaret Dzindolet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wed. Nov. 16th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
