Marie Simonne (Capistran) LeDuc, born July 27, 1923, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by the caring residents and staff of Bethany Health Care Center in Framingham on Monday, June 7th. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean Louis LeDuc, who died in 1994. The daughter of Elphege Capistran and Marie Alice (Davignon) Capistran, she is survived by four children, Carolle Lawson and husband Ralph, Francine Harrel and husband Calvin, Jacques LeDuc and wife Karen, and Ginette Hehn and husband Brandon; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Jean Paul Capistran and wife Mary, and 6 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Gino Palazzo, whom she raised as a child, and his wife Diane Ruscito. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 9th , at 11am in St. John's Catholic Church, Church St., Hopkinton, MA. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to The Mustard Seed, c/o St. John's Church, Church St., Hopkinton, MA 01748.
