Margaret Carlyle Peck, born to to James and Mary Carlyle, in Renton Scotland on September 26, 1922, passed away peacefully on November l, 2016, in Bedford, NH.

Rita, as she was known to all, was a star stenographer at Central High School in Bridgeport, CT, but after her marriage to Carlton Peck, she dedicated her life to raising her children and then her grandchildren, and she loved every minute of it. She also dedicated many volunteer hours to the Framingham Union Hospital for 25 years.

Rita was predeceased by her husband, Carl and an infant daughter. She is survived by her son Douglas and his wife, Debbie; her daughter Nancy and her husband Richard, and her son James and his wife, Mary.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, the lights of her life: Timothy, Emily, Katherine, Justin and Joseph, to whom she was "Nan."

She was also a special "Gigi" to Karen, Diane, Danielle and Meghan and a new special boy, Cooper.

Rita was soft spoken, but a strong and proud Scot, who was loved by many, and who will always be in our hearts.
