Margaret "Maggie" Ottaviani, 83, of Framingham passed away Monday Oct 20th surrounded by her family. Born in Franklin, she was the daughter of Hagop and Siranoush (Zorzorpian) Eknaian. She was the loving wife of Benedetto Ottaviani for 60 years. A graduate of Framingham School of Nursing, Maggie worked at Framingham Union Hospital as a registered nurse in the 1950's and later as a substitute school nurse in the Town of Framingham. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family and her dogs. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Benedetto P. Ottaviani and his wife Susan of Framingham, Debbie Bethel and her husband David of Ashland, Donna Tannar and her husband Ray of Shrewsbury, Margaret Ottaviani of Framingham, and Sarah Harmer and her husband Luke of Millbury, four grandchildren, Benedetto Jr and Christopher Ottaviani and Brian and Amanda Bethel, and one brother, Hagop "Junie" Eknaian and his wife Eleanor of Franklin. She was the sister of the late Henry Eknaian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held Friday at 9:00am at St. Bridgett's Parish, 830 Worcester Rd in Framingham with burial to follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
