Margaret A. Bartlett, 87, of Fairfax, VT formerly of Ashland passed away Saturday March 5th surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Waltham, MA; she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Marion (Smith) Woodworth and wife of the late Ora Frank Bartlett who died in 1989. A longtime resident of Ashland, Margaret taught ceramics in the basement of her home. She would later move to Wrenthem, MA and finally Fairfax, VT to be closer to family.

Mrs. Bartlett is survived by three children; Robert F. Bartlett of Millville, MA; Wade A Bartlett and his wife Lisa of Worcester; and Linda J. Brunelle and her husband Marc of Fairfax, VT; four grandchildren; Shannon, Justin, Matthew, Elise, two step-grandchildren, Kenena and Andrew, and one brother, Harris Woodworth of Marlboro, MA. She was the mother of the late Jeffrey W. Bartlett.
A funeral service will be held Saturday March 12th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. One calling hour will be held Saturday from 10:00-11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130
