Marcia (Fantoni) Ward, age 74 from Framingham and formerly of Windsor, CT, died, Friday July 13th, 2018 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. She was the wife of the late Edward Ward of Windsor. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Marco V. and Pauline (Decina) Fantoni. Mrs. Ward was a graduate of Framingham High School and Framingham State University. After college she became an elementary school teacher in the Framingham and Windsor CT public school system. Her true passion was her love for children and her family. She also worked for Poquonock Preschool and First Church preschool during the 1980s and worked with special needs children at L.P. Wilson Community Center during the 1990s. She is survived by her son Brendon Ward and his significant other Shoshana Adams. She is also survived by her siblings, Frances Cooney and Henry Fantoni, along with many more friends and family. At the family's request, all funeral services are private and will be held at a later date.
