ASHLAND - Marcia J. (Langley) Schneider of Ashland and previously of Framingham passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012, at Mass General Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 67. Marcia was born, raised and educated in Framingham. She lived in Ashland, with her beloved husband of 51 years, Alan H. Schneider. Marcia was the daughter of the late Daisy (Adams) and Woodrow Langley of Framingham, MA. Marcia was the devoted mother of Peter A. Schneider and close friend Joanne Trainor of Raymond, ME, and Eric K. Schneider of Hillard, OH. Loving Grandmother of Kainen Schneider of Hillard, OH and Katherine Schneider also of Hillard, OH. She is survived by her sister Evelyn McGuirk of Framingham, sister in-laws. Patricia Langley of Holliston, MA and Wendy Schneider of Millis, MA. Her sister Marilyn Jellison of Woonsocket, RI . Brother Robert Paul Langley of Holliston MA and brother-in-law Roy Schneider of Millis, MA predeceased her. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. . Marcia worked at Ashland High School in the cafeteria, B&M fuel in Ashland, Arnold Greene Testing Labs and most recently worked for IBC Conferences in Westborough, MA. She was involved many years ago with Ashland Firefighters Wives Association and also coached Girl's Youth Softball in Ashland. In addition to her family, she had many passions that were very dear to her heart. She loved gardening, bowling, traveling, playing cards on Saturday nights, and knitting. Her specialty were afghans for which everyone in the family and extended friends at Mass General have to enjoy. She also was an avid sports fan, especially the Patriots. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 27th from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick, MA . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
