Madeline M. Heine, 88, of Southboro passed away Sunday May 13th after a period of declining health.  Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Mary (Distasic) Placentino and wife of the late Laurence F. Heine who died in 1997.  A graduate of Boston College, Madeline worked as a reading specialist in the towns of Framingham and Holliston.  In addition, she and her husband were the owners of the L&M Hardware Store in Wellesley Hills and she worked as a real estate broker in the metrowest area.

Mrs. Heine is survived by one brother, Philip Placentino of Surfside Beach, SC, sister-in-law, Maryann Placentino and her late husband Samuel of Holliston, and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday June 16th at 9:30am in St. Matthew's Parish, 103 Southville Road, Southboro, MA.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the St. Patrick's Manor Activity Fund, 863 Central St. Framingham, MA  01701.
