Obituary

Millbury, MA – Lynn Desforges, age 56, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 2nd, in the presence of those who loved her. Lynn was born on April, 6th 1964, in Worcester, the daughter of Beverly (Stone) Rice and the late Carmello Ventura.  Lynn graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade High School and was a resident of Worcester MA, until moving to Spencer and then moving to Millbury this year.

Lynn was employed by the Providence College, UMass medical school and most recently Holy Name High school for many years. Lynn loved to travel, hike, kayak with her kids, and loved spending time at the beach, especially with her family. She was a board game fanatic and Scrabble extraordinaire. Lynn also enjoyed spending time with her closest friends (you know who you are!) and a special call out to The Lighthouse girls who always had a special place in her heart.  Lynn also has several nieces and nephews that she absolutely adored and loved to spend time with.

Special thanks to St. Anselm College Abbey of NH, and the Spencer Abbey of MA,  for their continued love and support and most importantly, their prayers.

Lynn was a devoted wife to David Desforges; her loving husband of 23 yrs and a devoted mother to her two amazing children; Devin John Desforges, and Fallon Marie Desforges of Millbury Ma.
Lynn also leaves behind her mother Beverly A. (Stone) and stepfather David R. Rice of Leicester, sisters Alesia (John) Ventura Large of Marlborough, and Pamela (Daryn) Johnson of Amherst NH., Michael (Stephanie) Ventura of Woodstock CT. She was predeceased by her brother Martin J Ventura.
