LTC Scott E. McKeen USA Ret, age 69, died on June 18, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born August 14, 1945, he grew up in Woburn before settling in Ashland, MA. He worked as a senior vice president of consumer lending for several large banks. He served with distinction in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 30 years in many positions of increasing responsibility before his retirement and honorable discharge as a Lieutenant Colonel. Scott is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra (Zubel); his daughter, Kimberly (McKeen) Bilawchuk and her family of Lowell, MA; his son, Brian McKeen and his family of Bow, NH; and six grandchildren. Scott will be buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on June 23, 2015, at 11:15am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, both Kim and Brian are participating inevents to raise awareness and funding for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
