Louise Annette Nicolas, 85, of Framingham passed away Tues Dec. 11th after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Annette (Turgeon) Berube'.  Louise married her high school sweetheart, Walter S. Nicolas on Nov. 27, 1955 after his return from serving in the Air Force.  A graduate of Framingham High School 1950, Louise went onto Worcester Hahnemann Nursing School graduating in 1953.  She began her nursing career as a pediatric nurse at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick and, after raising her children, returned to her nursing career at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham retiring as supervisor after 16 years of service in 1995.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by four children; Donna Haynes and her husband Richard of Bellingham; Brian Nicolas and his wife Maureen of Spencer; Mary Ellen Tenore and her husband Michael of Franklin; and Stephen Nicolas and his wife Denise of Attleboro; nine grandchildren; Keith, Brian, Kristen, Samantha, Troy, Brenna, Christopher, Jeanine, and Justin; and six great-grandchildren; Nicolas, Haylee, Emery, Zachary, Alexandra, and Oliver, and one cousin, Marcia Oliva of Framingham.

A funeral service will be celebrated Friday, Dec. 21st at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  One calling hour will be held Friday from 10:00-11:00am prior to the service.
